Primary’s Community Helpers Parade 2018

The annual Halloween parade has been a long standing tradition at the Primary School; attended by many parents. Our theme this year was occupations in the community, created and fashioned by students and their families!  The day started with students enjoying the backyard while parents milled in the front yard over bagels. We saw firefighters, police, chef, postal worker, scientists, health care professionals, dancers to just name a few. After the student group photo by our climbing tree, the children enjoyed sharing their costumes with friends and neighbors on a walk around the neighborhood. Many of our neighbors from local businesses came out to watch the parade and cheer on. Some of our neighbors were even in costume! A very big ‘thank you’ to all the parents and grandparents who participated in the parade.
